The Imaginary Entrepreneur

I've been working on a number of projects quite steadily for the past few weeks, with very little energy to spend on anything else (household chores and general upkeep included).

Being stuck in front of the computer for most of the time does wreck havoc on one's social life, particularly if one's social life – whereby upon closer inspection – resembles the ghastly remains of a dead white elephant (now please use your imagination).

However, within this decidedly dull, dreary period, I have developed a renewed interest in digital graphic design – and having spent a substantial amount of time drafting, tweaking and cropping things to bits, am left with the notion that this is indeed a form of visual communication which I have yet to master and exploit to its fullest potential; to develop ideas visually and apply them to items that would otherwise remain difficult or cumbersome to create through manual execution alone (printmaking for instance).

So with whatever spare time that I might have – while needlessly yearning for things to take shape; sending and receiving polite e-mails (plus one or two to the contrary); waiting for the next big thing/rejection to occur – I have been designing t-shirts*.

*A cheerless yet quaint diversion for the purpose of sanity preservation.
